Hazbin Hotel's Creator Has Seen Fans' Second Season Predictions — With Some Positive Updates

The highly-awaited Season 2 of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel arrives on the streaming platform this week, and audience theories has been widespread.

The first season introduces a diverse group of personalities living within Hell and Heaven, sets them at odds accompanied by musical numbers detailing their conflicts, and establishes tense rivalries and angsty, affectionate connections that drive fan obsession.

The fandom's stated hopes for the new season vary widely, but certain themes recur frequently: Will a fan-favorite character break free from Valentino? Might we learn more about the mysterious "deal" constraining Alastor the Radio Demon? Might certain characters' relationships evolve?

"Naturally, I don't make the show with audience demands as the main goal," the creator stated earlier this year. "But I feel like me being a fan of my own show means there's a lot of it just inherently. I also am eager for these things, and I hope some of these things to occur, and clearly some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

She reveals her long-term vision is for five seasons of Hazbin Hotel. Seasons 3 and 4 have already been green-lit by the production companies, which finance the series.

That might mean viewers have to wait years for some of the major resolutions — but they could be shocked at how fast season 2 moves, and how many of what they're anticipating unfolds this season.

"I feel like people are going to get a lot out of it," the creator notes. "We get some firsts. I think we receive some incredible disclosures, some really cool backstories, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] We're going to hear additional musical numbers from the previously silent cast members."

She's certainly aware of the theories and desires about the upcoming season — especially in the format of audience prediction charts.

"I've seen a couple people make a bingo card about season 2," she says. "Obviously I won't share it, but I've already completed some of them, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I was like, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we accomplish much [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel the second season premieres on the streaming service on Oct. 29.
